Mit dem Faust ist der Metropolitan Opera auf jeden Fall musikalisch die bislang beste Vorstellung in der Saison geglückt, die jetzt Halbzeit hat.

    Thanks for the review. I would say that the two great contributors for the quality of the performance (besides the maestro) were the two German singers - René Pape and Jonas Kaufmann, both absolutely fantastic and much better than all other soloists.
